2016 Smart Brabus range confirmed
Lineup, prices and specifications confirmed for the Smart Fortwo, Fortwo Cabrio and Forfour Brabus performance range
Smart has confirmed prices and specifications for its Brabus tuned range which will include the Fortwo, Fortwo Cabrio and Fourfour with prices starting from £16,320.
Each car gets the existing turbocharged 898cc triple petrol engine with power boosted by 19bhp to an overall 108bhp, fitted to a dual-clutch twinamic automatic gearbox, featuring a race start function.
The Brabus cars also get enhanced looks, sports suspension, sports power steering and adapted ESP.
All models come fitted with 16in alloys on the front and 17in alloys on the rear plus Brabus badging on the outside, while inside there a sports steering wheel, special seats, sports pedals while the handbrake and gear lever get Brabus insignia. All cars get a smart audio sound system, automatic climate control and cruise control.
There are two bolt-on packages available. The premium pack adds height adjustable driver’s seat and steering wheel, rear parking sensors and electrically heated and operated wing mirrors all for £845. Premium Plus, includes the Premium pack and adds ambient lighting, rear view camera, fog lights, a central armrest, auto lights and auto wipers for £1,345.
The range-topping Brabus Xclusive trim adds leather sports seats, a bi-fabric leather and mesh dash and floor mats in addition to the Premium Plus pack.
A night sky option for the ForFour adds a fabric folding roof.
Smart will unveil electric versions of Fortwo, Fortwo Cabrio and Forfour at the Paris Motor Show.
All three Brabus models are available to order now with deliveries due in October.
