The range-topping TT will be available as a coupe and roadster when deliveries start in November priced from £51,800
Audi has launched its range-topping RS version for the TT coupe and roadster and is Audi's answer to the Porsche Cayman and Boxster S.
It’s the most powerful TT to ever enter production with its 2.5-litre TFSI five-cylinder petrol engine producing 395bhp and 354lb ft of torque.
It’s available as either a two-door coupe and two-seater roadster and is fitted with a seven-speed S Tronic automatic gearbox and Quattro all-wheel drive.
The RS Coupe will get from 0-62mph in just 3.7 seconds with the roadster taking a further 0.2 seconds, which matches the performance figures of the Audi RS7.
Audi Drive Select adaptive dynamics allows you to choose from different car settings including comfort, auto, dynamic and individual modes which control the steering, throttle and exhaust note.
The TT RS has 10mm lowered suspension and comes fitted with 19in cast wheels which can be upgraded to 20in.Inside you’ll find super sport seats in fine Napa leather, an Alcantara steering wheel, virtual cockpit and MMI sat nav.
A first on an Audi (as an optional extra) is the matrix organic light emitting diode taillights which have a 3-D effect with four light beams, the largest of which details the TT logo and Audi rings
The TT RS can be ordered from September with deliveries starting in November 2016 and is priced from £51,800 for the Coupe and £53,550 for the Roadster.
