2017 Land Rover Discovery set for Paris Motor Show
Land Rover’s all important replacement for the Discovery can now be seen in its first official pictures ahead of its world premiere this month
Land Rover has been confirmed that the fifth-generation of the all-new Discovery will debut at this month’s Paris Motor Show and to wet-the-pallet, Land Rover has released the first official photos of the seven-seat SUV.
The images are limited to showing just the front end but when comparing it to the previous models, the new Discovery is a significant departure from the existing design theme.
It’s clear to see that the current Discovery Sport and Range Rover Sport have both influenced the new models looks. It also appears more butch, modern and stylish, very much in the mould of the Range Rover Sport.
Land Rover’s Chief Design Officer, Gerry McGovern said: “New Discovery redefines the large SUV. Land Rover’s design and engineering teams have revolutionised the Discovery DNA to create a highly desirable, extremely versatile and hugely capable premium SUV.”
